Every year Kiwanis Club of Kralendijk, Bonaire organizes the hand-out of baby & food packages. We are able to do this thanks to donations from recent fundraising events and help from our sponsors and supporters.
Baby Packages
We donated 45 baby boxes filled with items for babies and toddlers to families.
The mothers could also visit the Kiwanis mini flea market to select free toys and clothes for children and adults. The packages included baby formula and toddler milk, fruit and vegetable purees, yogurt, snacks, diapers, and wipes. The mothers also received a gift for Mother’s Day.
Joy Donation
And last weekend, we could also surprise 14 other families with our Joy Donation. We gifted these families a basket and bags with fresh produce, eggs, bread, cheese, yogurt, crackers, juice, and other food and household items. The families also received gift vouchers for groceries and a fun family outing!
It’s so great to see all the happy smiles on their faces, especially the kids!
